Introducing La Vita Boost
OxBykes has partnered with La Vita Boost to provide an affordable, retrofittable e-bike solution. Almost any bicycle can have a kit installed, giving you that extra boost.
What is Boost?

An e-bike conversion kit. It consists of a battery, a control unit, a motor and optionally a handlebar mounted display.

Convert (pretty much) any traditional bicycle into an e-bike easily and safely - the battery is a high quality unit and each one is checked and tested in the UK before shipping.

Offers assistance in three stages, based on wheel speed. Max power is delivered at higher speed, tops out at 15.5mph due to legislation.

Range is circa 50km subject to riding style and terrain, cyclist and bike weight, and tyre pressures - it will easily get you both ways on a 10 mile commute on one charge.

How does it work in practice?

You can buy an installation on its own, or you can buy a bicycle from OxBykes with the kit installed. If you already have the bike, the cost is £649. If you need a bicycle too, then you buy the bicycle on our website. Either way, you finish up by filling in this form

Once the form is completed, we will be in touch within hours. If you already have the bicycle in your possession, you will need to bring the bike in, or we will come to you. If you have bought a OxBykes bicycle online, we recommend test riding it to make sure its the right bicycle for you before we fit the boost kit.

Warranties: You will get 365 day warranty on the bicycle & kit. If there are any issues, you can bring the bicycle in and we will look at it. We are unable to cover damage caused by misuse, such as a crash or other damages. We will only be able to cover the warranty if the bicycle has been used under general operations.
